• Thornless, high-yielding.
• Machine harvests very well, fruit dark, uniform, attractive.
• Classic trailing blackberry flavor, but not as intense or aromatic as Marion.
• Maturity date begins in late June in Aurora, Oregon and extends for about four weeks.
• Plants are less vigorous than most trailing types, so should be planted closer within the row.
• Processed fruit quality is excellent, and hand harvested fruit is firm enough for local fresh market sales.
• Uneven bud break has been observed in southern California, possibly due to insufficient chill.
